Clifford J. Moller, a native of New York City, is no stranger to being at the helm of successful real estate and economic development ventures. He has extensive experience achieving impressive outcomes in business, property and community enhancement and expansion. A strong communicator and dynamic leader, Mr. Moller is able to effectively plan, organize and implement economic development functions from conception to completion.

Clifford J. Moller has served as Executive Director of the Greater Alexandria Economic Development Authority (GAEDA), a political subdivision of the State of Louisiana, since its inception in 2004. Its mission is “To be a visionary leader and catalyst to promote economic development, creating a better quality of life for Alexandria’s citizens.”. Mr. Moller provides vision and direction for both short and long-term strategic planning programs, as well as oversees the development and implementation of all financial and operational procedures. In addition to representing the authority to local, state, and federal agencies, Mr. Moller promotes GAEDA’s services to community organizations. Bridging cultural, political and ideological gaps, galvanizing local leadership and employing positive implementation strategies with stakeholders, he has successfully completed many large-scale projects.

Clifford J. Moller served as Board Chairman for the Alexandria Public Housing Authority in Alexandria, Louisiana (2015-2017). The Alexandria Housing Authority (AHA) is a large operation with over twenty million dollars in assets, seven million dollars in revenue and 30 full-time employees. Under his leadership, existing challenges were treated as opportunities, resulting in remarkable improvements during his appointment. As an example, Mr. Moller initiated, and secured over forty million dollars in low-income housing tax credits for, Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD), a new affordable
housing program for public housing authorities that allowed for new construction and rehabilitation of hundreds of residential units.

As Interim Property Manager of the $285 million dollar 42nd Street Redevelopment Project in New York City, Mr. Moller was a vital member of the team responsible for transforming the Times Square district into an entertainment destination built upon tourism. He cultivated strong relationships with over 500 condemned property owners and lessees, as well as fellow project team members, both contributing to the successful completion of the project. 42nd Street now attracts a global audience, invigorating the city’s economy through job creation, increased real-estate values, and sales tax revenue.

Clifford J. Moller has Master of Arts Degree in Community and Regional Planning from the University of Nebraska, a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication Studies from the University of Nebraska and is a Graduate of Realtors Institute (GRI). He is Principal
of CJM Regional and Community Planning, which specializes in city planning, economic development, and real estate. He also has prior broker experience with the firms of Webb & Brooker, Inc. and Newmark & Company of New York City.

Mr. Moller enjoys golf, aikido and the shooting sports. He is married to Veretta Garrison-Moller and the proud father and step-father of four adult children.
